Santa and Students in the wind !

What a day here at BHH , with over 10 hours of flying between us we had a busy day !

The day started out with reports of high winds and turbulence, we had a good amount of wind ,16k with gusts to 24 , of course our schweizer helicopters handle this very well unlike some trainers , we have a great stable platform for students with the schweizer ! Adrian was working with several different people all day including Paul Mahoney who is getting ready for a private checkride this week , He fly's very well and his ground is perfect . Paul will be taking his written test today at our "CATS" test centre here at the BHH office.

We also had a visit from Santa who dropped into the office as he does every year around this time . Santa requested that we dropped him of at wollaston golf club, Steve flew him in our R44 Clipper 2 ! with a difficult approach over some very tall trees onto a windy 1st hole ! , hundreds of children were waiting for Santa as Steve did a fly by for Santa to see just how many gifts he needed to bring !

The president of the course along with the GM took a short tour of Boston as Santa met all the children and gave them gifts.

Thanks again to Rick at wollaston for a great lunch for the 3rd year in a row ! see you next year Rick !

Plenty more to come this week , including details of Steve ferrying our 2nd R44 to florida for winter training and the collection of our Eurocopter EC120B.

Happy Holidays
